Source: PRO: ADM 166/12 - Children’s Allowances 1901-1917

Although catalogued under Greenwich widows’ pensions, the vast majority of the entries in this volume deal directly or indirectly with allowances to children and not to widows’ pensions. The last dates that these were issued appear to have been through the Boxer Rebellion in China and the Second Anglo-Boer War (1902).
