This is comprised of seven loose sheets making up Lieutenant William Browne’s monthly accounts from August 1794 to January 1795. They show the disbursements for ‘his Gang in Procuring men of his Majesty’s Fleet. In relation to this the entry dates of the men of the gang, rather than acquired by the gang are shown: some having come into this employ as early as October 1793. Apart from Lieutenant Browne there were two or three midshipmen and six or so able seamen.
