Unindexed other than by rank, for those warrranted there is little problem in making searches. This is because there are so few entries. There is one for a boatswain and a chaplain; but none for any gunners, carpenters or pursers at all.

In rough alphabetical and chronological order, this is a difficult record to deal with, the handwriting being apparently hurried and less than neat. What is more, warrant officers are very much in the minority and in my opinion should only be consulted by those wishing every single possible scrap of information on individuals.
